Our team typically includes staff who have completed at least one year of college or have participated in our leadership training program. We offer room and board to about 20 staff members, while others live off-site in the local community. This unique mix of on-site and off-site staff fosters friendships that last far beyond the summer.

What is it like to work here?

Working at a day camp offers the excitement of camp life with plenty of time off. Off-site staff work from 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m, Monday through Friday.
On-site staff help with additional evening chores and weekend duties, this may include helping with extra programs, some light dish work, and getting the camp ready for the next day or week ahead.
Everyone takes part in camp overnights
.

Your Summer Experience

The summer kicks off with a minimum of a week of Staff Training, including an overnight stay, where you'll learn everything about camp life—from First Aid/CPR training to camp activities and games. You'll leave feeling prepared to meet your campers! As a counselor, you’ll lead a group of campers through a variety of activities, ranging from arts & crafts to swimming and horseback riding, all aligned with the weekly camp themes.

Earn While You Learn

We offer a competitive pay scale, with compensation based on your role, experience, and skills. Working at camp offers a valuable opportunity for personal growth and development and is fun.

Important things to consider

While camp is fun, it’s also hard work. You will be directly responsible for the safety, supervision, and well-being of your campers. This includes being a positive role model, cell phone-free during work hours, and ready to engage in all camp activities. You'll spend most of your time outdoors, often hiking or leading activities in nature, and need to be prepared for physical activity and the elements.

What roles do we offer?

Arts & Crafts Specialist, Challenge/Ropes Specialist, Equestrian Specialists, General Counselors, IT Specialist, Lifeguards, Nature Specialist, Sports & Games Specialist, Support Staff, and more!
