Mike Bruscia

Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in wildlife ecology and conservation from the University of Florida in Gainesville. It was his experience teaching at the Audubon School in Maine and doing research in South America that inspired him to pursue a career in the field of nature education.

Over the years, Mike has taught ecology programs that focused on the Atlantic marine ecosystems and marine mammals, particularly whales and dolphins. He has also guided extensively in Baja, the Everglades, Alaska and the Caribbean. He has lead trips through Canada for exploring the world of polar bears, grizzly bears and beluga whales. His passion for educating others has made Mike successful with student and adult groups.

Mike served as an Expedition Leader and Naturalist for Natural Habitat Adventures for 10 years earning the titles Head Expedition Leader and Lead Naturalist before retiring in 2009.  His duties included training Expedition Leaders around the World not only on how to ensure safety and a positive experience, but also environmental stewardship and sustainability.

Currently as the Director of Experiential Learning at Triple C Camp, he enjoys teaching global issues on a local level. Go Gators!
