Blast into Physical Science

Reinforce classroom teachings with this exciting physics program! Newton's Laws and Bernoulli's Principal are just a few of the concepts to be discussed throughout the day. 

The program begins with a high energy, interactive, loud, theatrical presentation involving Physical Science demonstrations. Concepts such as physical and chemical changes, nuclear reactions, temperature and heat, air pressure, sound, light, and motion will be witnessed.

The program continues as we divide into smaller groups and give the students a hands-on opportunity to experience technological applications of work, force and motion on our Ropes Course and Play Structures.

The program concludes with a Physics Olympics with group representatives compete to build a mentos car, launch a water rocket, drop an egg, build a wall and hit a target from our zip line. (Students will enter one of the above events representing their team in the Physics Olympics.)

Blast into Physical Science is designed to meet the 8th grade Virginia SOLs.  The program can be adapted for other age groups, please contact our staff to discuss your class's needs.
