This week the Pioneers explored FRONTIER DAYS all over camp. From Pony rides to totem poles at nature with CATHY, our week was a reflection of the days of old. DIONNE helped everyone to make sheriffs badges in Arts & Crafts. With MARION, the Animal Specialist, the Pioneers learned about the ferrets, rabbits and rats and what type of feed they need. While at the Challenge Course we just couldn't get enough of the great games with HANK. Many of the Pioneer groups made great Frontier type items such as headbands, vest, tee pees and beaded items. We had a great week and are ready to get patriotic next week with RED WHITE & YOU!!

"THE EDGE"

JESSIE AND FRIENDS

This week "The Edge" campers polished their skills in leading activities. We focused on diversity and learning new activities, and Wednesday we put our skills to work during Trailblazer Choice Activity Time. "The Edge" campers learned a lot about all the aspects of camp with a fabulous scavenger hunt on Tuesday. "The Edge" campers have learned that every activity takes a lot of planning and they put their planning skills to the test this week by planning a group field trip for Friday. "The Edge" campers went to The Berry Patch in the morning to relax and pick berries. In the afternoon we headed off to the movie theatre to watch "Finding Nemo" (as "The Edge" campers claimed they need to know what the younger campers are watching and talking about… yeah right!! They just wanted an excuse to see a great Disney Flick). It was a great Friday afternoon full of fun activities planned, researched and organized by the group. Another fine week of learning and fun for "THE EDGE".
