Pioneer
Power! (K-1st Grades)
The PIONEERS kicked off TRIPLE C's last week, MARVEL & MYSTERY style! Our little ones were amazed by the activities that their counselors and specialists had planned for them. At Arts & Crafts with KAREN, the Pioneers worked on Dragon, Castle, and Princess Drawings, while at Nature, with the "Fairy" HEATHER, they hunted for moor monsters, stump trolls, and the good fairies of TRIPLE C. ADAM, the Sports & Games specialist, had our Pioneers running around playing the mystical games of Triple C: soccer, baseball, basketball. LESLIE and the Pioneers created skits to perform at Round-up, while at the Challenge Course, the Pioneers learned team-building activities with KATY MAC. The Pioneers are now ready for yet another stupendous year at school, after having the best summer of their lives! We at Triple C look forward to seeing all of our little ones again next year!!

Trailblazers Rock! (2nd-3rd Grades)
Our TRAILBLAZERS entered into TRIPLE C's world of MARVEL & MYSTERY full of curiosity and excitement for all of the activities created for them. Whether creating magic wands, playing water games like "Drip, Drip, Splash", or completing the forts they had been working on thru summer, the Trailblazers mastered the magic that camp had to offer them. The Trailblazers also had awesome Choice Activities this week: making castles with KAREN, troll hunts with HEATHER, preparing a skit for Round-up with LESLIE, spending time with Snicker, the Guinea Pig, and MILDRED, climbing the Challenge Course wall with KATY MAC, and playing soccer with ADAM. All of the Trailblazers had a blast. They are now looking forward to another outstanding year at school, after having blazed their way throughout the summer here at Triple C! We look forward to seeing each and every one of our Trailblazers back next year!!

GREAT OUTDOORS CAMPERS CAN COOK! |
Got to Explore
(4th-6th Grades)
MARVEL & MYSTERY saw our Explorers having a magical week here at TRIPLE C! The ART & DRAMA campers were into the spirit of the week, creating many mosaics, hemp necklaces, and stained glass pictures. They entertained the rest of camp at Round-up with all of the many wonderful skits that they created, with the help of REBEKAH, LATIEFAH, and LESLIE. The GREAT OUTDOORS campers were shaking it up (literally) making their own ice cream in baggies, tye dyeing, going on a salamander hunt, and making their own beads. The Great Outdoors campers also enjoyed their last Cook Out Extravaganza with HEATHER, our Nature specialist. SPORTS & GAMES campers were into all sorts of activities, displaying magical skills on the field while playing Lacrosse, Basketball, Ultimate Frisbee, Handball, Dodgeball, Cricket, Rugby, and Softball. The COLT CAMPERS were in the ring and on the ground this week, learning proper ways to ride and take care of the horses. Whether doing ground lessons, ring lessons, or stable work, the campers were amazed by the many things that they all learned and experienced. Many marvels were had by all of our Explorers, not only this week, but throughout the summer. We look forward to seeing them all back with us next year for another wonderful summer!

Teen Scene on Tour (6th-8th Grades)
Marvel & Mystery surrounded us this week! To start off our week our choice activities were full of intrigue as we worked our way through the WILD WEAVE with HEATHER in Nature and shot hoops with ADAM at Sports & Games. We also "wowed" our friends as we tried out the HIGH ELEMENTS of the Challenge Course: The Cat Walk, Eagle Walk and the Multi-vine.
The Teen Scene's out of camp adventure began on Tuesday with a trip to Penn Park. Following time at Penn Park we ventured to the Downtown Mall, where we had scavenger hunt. The treasure of the hunt = Ice Park time! On Wednesday, the local PBS affiliate TV station taped some footage of us participating in our community service activities for some of its upcoming specials and the show ZOOM. The campers did community service at one of the three locations: The Colonades, Westminster Canterbury and Charlottesville Parks and Rec. After a few hours of service we ventured to Washington Park Pool for some fun in the sun. Thursday we headed to Walnut Creek for some morning activities and lunch. The afternoon took us to Planet Fun. Campers chose between mini golf, go-carts, and batting cage time. Campers also had some time on the arcade games if they chose. Friday it was back to enjoying the fun of being on grounds at TRIPLE C! Now we are looking forward to another fantastic year at school. Can't wait to come back to camp next year and have more awesome adventures!

THE EDGE (9th-10th Grades)
Congrats to all the amazing participants in ?THE EDGE? leadership program. It was a great summer for this group as they grew and developed into more mature individuals with a better understanding of those around them. A few of our Edge campers displayed such maturity and preparedness they were given the chance to enhance a few of the cabin groups this week full time.
Great job to all our EDGE CAMPERS!
We are looking forward to next years crop of rising ninth and tenth graders. We have seen great leadership develop in the Teen Scene thru the summer and know ?THE EDGE? will be as successful next summer.
