2001

Greetings from Triple C Camp!
We were global this week as we celebrated America's Independance and learned about other countries around the world.

The Fourth was an amazing day at camp as we celebrated in RED, WHITE, and BLUE style! All Camp pool relays, Bubble Gum Hikes, and an all camp game of Twister completed our Independance Day.

The sun was shining on us this week as we culminated the week's festivities with a GLOBAL BLOWOUT on Friday that included: Miniature Horse Chariot Races, Boomerang Throwing lessons, Around the World on the basketball court, Splash Ball Toss and of course the true American favorite, Fudge Bars! Look below for more specific details for each of the different programs at camp! See you next week....

PIONEER POWER!

CIERRA P., and KRISTEN S. enjoy having ADRIANE paint their faces!

The Pioneers have been around the globe this week. A Flag Finding & Counting contest lead the pioneers all about the camp grounds as some of the flags were very well hidden. The 2nd Grade Boys were victorious as they found the most flags and in all the right places! Great job guys! The Fourth was a great day at camp as every Pioneer was decked out in red, white and blue, LOOKING GOOD PIONEERS!

The Pioneers demonstrated their artistic abilities in the studio this week as they made flags, boomerangs, jigsaw puzzles of the United States and created beautiful frames to capture summer memories. At the Petting Zoo the campers welcomed with much love and affection our new Lambs, LILLY & TULIP. On the Challenge Course the Pioneers went around the world in a Global Obstacle Course visiting the icy tundra of the Artic Circle, the Hot Sierra Desert and many other counties in fun camp fashion.

Another great week was had by all! We look forward to going West next week ...it’s WESTERN ROUND UP! So find those hats and boots and get ready for a YEEHAA great time!

BURGER ME! The GREAT OUTDOORS campers learned about grilling burgers with JOSH and KATHY

The Global attitude infected everyone this week, as the Explorers traveled in style. Sports & Games Campers experienced international athletics at it’s best, as they learned touch Rugby, quick Cricket, and golf. They also enjoyed Out-Of-This-World Ice Cream Sundaes! The Great Outdoors Campers made paper mache’ globes, hiked through the wilderness and cooked burgers, beans and s’mores over the open flames of friendship. The Horseback Riders kept the horses in holiday spirits as they were painted red, white and blue. The horses also treated our campers to bareback rides. Our Art & Drama campers created a skit, developed a dance, and got into creative cooking, churros! Next week we will be lassoing up even more fun with WESTERN ROUNDUP
