Pioneers
(Rising Kindergarten - 1st grades)
A First Traditional Camping Experience! Campers participate in a variety of activities and programs. Through weekly themes these campers get hands-on opportunities to experience arts & crafts, nature projects, visiting our own petting zoo, sports & games, pony rides, and swimming. This program is designed to meet the unique social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs of a young camper.
Groups are seperated by gender and have about 15 campers with two/three counselors. Gender specific groups allows the campers to discover their differences and their similarities in a socially and physically safe fun environment. The staff are trained to work with the emotional and developmental differences of our youngest campers.
All Pioneer Campers have daily swim lessons led by our American Red Cross Life Guards who have been trained as Swim Instructors.
